Learn more about Microfinance and Health Protection (MAHP) Programme

Freedom From Hunger India Trust is a technical support organisation working in India since 2006. It draws it's expertise from its parent organisation Freedom from Hunger, an international development organization based  in the United States, working in 20 countries over 20 decades where chronic hunger is suffered by a large portion of a country’s population.

Our goal is  to achieve nutrition & food security, reduce poverty and improve economic and social status of poor and marginalized women and their families through increased integration of micro finance with other essential services such as health, information and livelihood opportunities.

Our major strategy in India is to bring access to Finance and create health awareness on SHG platform. Our presence in India was initiated in the year 2006 with one of our flagship programs called Microfinance and Health Protection (MAHP) with the financial support from  Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
